I am not sure if I blogged this or not, but Dad did have an eye exam and the Dr. said all looks good. Dad should be able to see fine when he wakes up and his eye heals (the left one is still pretty swollen shut and bruised) he should see fine. GREAT NEWS!!!
We are hoping that dad will get his surgeries either tomorrow or the next day and then the move to Kindred (the LTAC) will take place.
Tandy gets in tonight and we are all excited to see him!!
Lucas is here for another day and will leave either friday night or Saturday morning.
He did have a shave for the first time the other day after about a week--
He is starting to react to people talking to him and physical touch more--HE is not out of a coma, but he's eye is openning by itself and moving his shoulders when they clean out the Trech, so at this good.
There are those who are still having trouble with Carepages...so here it is step by step.
1. Go to www.carepages.com
2. The page that pops up -- in the left corner it will say EMAIL-PASSWORD or SIGN IN.
If you have not visited before-hit SIGN IN.
3. It will ask you for an email address and a password (THIS IS A DIFFERENT Password than your EMAIL-You choose a password for this page only--I have had a lot of people I am sure use dad's name or something like that.)
4. After logging in you will click the visit ICON toward the top of the page--Once you have visited it once-it will show up when you first log in. Dad's page is number1ironman.
5. You can click on the visit icon first, put my dads code in number1ironman, but will only see a limited profile--you have to LOG IN before you can see the whole profile.
We will get you more information when we get it.
PS: Again today I enjoyed a great cup of coco--I think the coco mishapes are behind me--I will have to find another thing to complain about! Maybe the comfort of the seats--or the way some families took over "our" section of the waiting room--Anyway--I will try to find something! :)

Thanks for all you do to post the updates on your dad! I'm sure so many people are appreciating them, just as I am. We will continue to pray for your dad and your whole family! I can truly picture your pain/frustration with those hot cocoa mishaps, as I love hot cocoa too! I am so happy for you that those days are behind you now!! :o) BTW, you have such a great writing style and sense of humor. It's fun to read your insights and perspective.
